Legalised Shield does not provide loans and does not act as a bank, NBFC, credit provider, or credit bureau.
Eligibility
By using our services, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are legally capable of entering into a service relationship
- The information you provide is true and accurate
- You are seeking guidance for your own debt matter or are authorised to act on behalf of another person or business
Nature of Services
Legalised Shield provides debt relief support, case review, counselling, documentation guidance, legal coordination support, and settlement-related assistance.
Our role is to help you understand your situation, assess possible options, and guide you through a structured process.
Legalised Shield does not guarantee:
- Loan waiver
- Mandatory settlement approval
- Specific settlement percentage
- Immediate stoppage of all recovery communication
- Credit score improvement
- Withdrawal of legal proceedings
- Any fixed outcome from banks, NBFCs, lenders, recovery agencies, courts, arbitrators, or authorities
Any resolution depends on your case facts, lender policies, outstanding amount, repayment history, documentation, legal status, and your ability to comply with settlement or repayment terms.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Share complete and correct documents
- Disclose all relevant loans, dues, notices, and recovery communication
- Not hide important facts
- Respond to Legalised Shield’s requests for information on time
- Not misuse our services for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
- Make informed decisions after understanding the risks and consequences
- Maintain copies of all documents, payment records, and settlement letters
Legalised Shield is not responsible for consequences arising from incomplete, incorrect, misleading, or delayed information provided by you.
Fees and Payments
Legalised Shield may charge fees for consultation, case handling, documentation support, legal coordination, settlement assistance, or other services.
Before starting paid work, the fee structure, scope of work, and payment terms will be explained to you.
Unless specifically agreed in writing:
- Fees paid are for professional support and service effort
- Fees do not guarantee a particular settlement result
- Government fees, legal fees, documentation charges, courier charges, or third-party charges may be separate
- Refunds, if any, will be governed by the agreed service terms
Settlement and Lender Decisions
Any settlement offer, restructuring decision, waiver, closure, or repayment arrangement is at the discretion of the lender, bank, NBFC, credit card issuer, or relevant financial institution.
Legalised Shield may assist with guidance, communication, documentation, and negotiation support, but cannot force any lender to accept a settlement proposal.
Credit Score and Credit History
Loan settlement, credit card settlement, missed EMI, overdue accounts, restructuring, or written-off status may affect your credit score or credit history.
Legalised Shield may explain general credit-related implications, but the final reporting is done by the lender or credit bureau.
You are advised to understand the possible credit impact before proceeding.
Legal Notice and Legal Support
Legalised Shield may help you understand legal notices and coordinate legal support where required.
However:
- Website content is not legal advice
- General consultation is not a substitute for independent legal advice
- Formal legal opinions, court representation, arbitration response, or litigation support may require separate engagement with qualified legal professionals
Recovery Harassment Support
Legalised Shield may guide you on borrower rights, recovery communication, documentation, and escalation options.
RBI has instructed regulated entities to ensure that they or their recovery agents do not resort to intimidation or harassment, either verbal or physical, while undertaking debt collection. FIDC
However, Legalised Shield cannot guarantee that all lender or recovery agency communication will stop immediately.

Confidentiality
Legalised Shield will take reasonable care to maintain confidentiality of client information. However, information may be shared with authorised professionals, legal advisors, service providers, or authorities where required for service delivery or legal compliance.
Termination of Services
Legalised Shield may refuse, suspend, or terminate services if:
- False or misleading information is provided
- Required documents are not shared
- The user engages in abusive or unlawful conduct
- Fees are unpaid
- The matter involves fraud, illegal activity, or misrepresentation
- Continuing the engagement becomes impractical or legally inappropriate
Changes to Terms
Legalised Shield may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of competent courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
